Shooting Star, stained and engraved flashed glass, 54 x 45cm, 2025.

 

This panel was a special commission for a house in Cellardyke. It was designed for a bedroom and the brief was to depict the night sky. The effect of the illuminated stars was created by hand-engraving some flashed blue Lamberts glass, while the shooting star has a faceted glass jewel at its centre. The tail of the star features an array of iridescent glass.
