Stained Glass Artist
The Isle of May
The Isle of May is one of the East Neuk of Fife's most recognisable landmarks. It's a national nature reserve, a bird sanctuary, a place of pilgrimage, a beacon for fishermen returning home. In this panel I've used a textured art glass to depict the Island's rugged cliffs. When illuminated, the glass reveals swirling patterns of green, yellow and blue, reflecting the fields of wildflowers that emerge in the summer.
